Kimberly Lowrie-Jenkins

Kim comes to Great Lakes Educational Consulting from a 13 year career in the addiction treatment industry. She has spent most of her career working in both clinical and marketing capacities at a nationally recognized substance abuse treatment center in Illinois. In her most recent position as National Marketing Manager, Kim travelled throughout the country and visited other addiction treatment programs and therapeutic schools, developing an expertise in adolescent and young adult addiction treatment and recovery. Kim used this expertise in working with students at Rosecrance and assisting them in finding the most clinically appropriate therapeutic placements post-treatment. Through her extensive work in a residential substance abuse setting, Kim has a unique understanding of the needs of students who have struggled with substance abuse issues and co-occurring disorders.
Kim has a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Illinois State University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She has been a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) since 1997. Recently married, Kim enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys reading and travelling.
